When Travis and I were going through the numbers of visitors to DSAD we wanted to find out REAL visitors. Find out real info about how the list was performing. How many real users visit and work the list. Not robots. Not people that came from Google because we wrote a fake story about a current events story that has nothing to do with domains but we made it into one. Or not some Google bait written with keywords. Nobody here has the time or desire to dupe anyone. Turns out those numbers are LOW, very low. Really down to the hundreds.
For example. I was looking at NamePros last night and saw this
1,161 visitors (833 people, 223 members, 610 guests, 328 robots)
Out of 1161, only 223 were members and the rest were either robots or directed there as guests. Some of them may find Namepros of interest but they aren’t really valuable. Sure some could and will become regulars but realistically they only stop by. And Namepros is probably the biggest site in Domain Investing.
We collect stats on this list. What domains were clicked and what names were purchased through the links. It helps us know what kind of names our readers like and buy. The clicks seemed great until we took out the robots. It took out half of the clicks. An example of what was clicked the other day
On average only 300 names are clicked each day. There are actually more daily readers than that but most people never click the links. And that’s fine. Maybe they are coming for this silly intro. I’m sure some want to make sure we don’t get any money. I know for a fact that a few people that criticize us yet visit every single day. And that’s cool too. The difference is we know how small this industry is and don’t pretend its bigger than it is. We know how difficult it is to make money and appreciate anyone that comes here to check out the list and then come back and checks out Travis’ list to see what they actually sold for. It’s the only way to learn the wholesale value of names. To make money you have to know value. And to write a good list you have to know what people want and through stat tracking we know as well as anyone. The kicker is that some days the selection isn’t as good and you can’t put together a good list with leftover names. Here are today’s domains. Click to see the latest price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
To provide clarity on the NamePros stats:
– “members” are logged-in visitors at the time you check (we consider them online at that moment). In a 24 hour period, that number is in the thousands. In a month, there are many tens of thousands of members that login to NamePros, but some members only login once a day, once a week, etc.
– “people” are real people online on the site at that very moment (not robots). Keep in mind that everyone is not online at the same time: the ~1000 people that are online right now will not be the same ~1000 people that will be online in an hour from now.
– “guests” are a combination of members (logged out), people from search engines, direct navigation visitors, etc. Google Analytics indicates that more than half of all guests on NamePros are members but they are logged out. Members do not stay logged in indefinitely (sessions expire) and sometimes they don’t log back in right away. Some members logout manually and only login when they want to post.
Hope that helps provide a better understanding of the stats.
I thought you quit .
WeedSerum.com may not deliver healing, for men at least.
Today I obtained proof that Cannabis halts Testosterone production:
-February 2017 smoking 2 nights a week, my testosterone lab results from a major regional hospital in North Carolina scored 315 (low) under the minimum 335 for age 45 .
-June 2017 smoking daily for 90 days, the 2nd testosterone blood test came back at 124 (extremely low)
-May 2018 no cannabis since Oct 2017, todays T score hit 600 (HIGH)
Nothing has changed in 2018 other than consuming more hamburger with tons of mustard. Cannabis, I’m certain is a man destroyer.
Steve,
That’s crazy. Rosener’s score is probably -450
