My 5l.com have really started to heat up this year. I sold another one this week and have been selling one every other week this year. I’ll announce a sample of them on today’s Sherpa taping. The great thing is I can replace them for a few hundred dollars now. Although I used to get them for $20 before. But it’s one of the few areas of my portfolio where I can sell a name and pick up 10-20 very similar names with the money. Which builds my portfolio with no money invested. The #2 goal of this domain investing thing. After the #1 goal. Make profit.
On a personal note my daughter got a job working minimum wage rather than work for me at the nursery for $4 more an hour. She didn’t want to work for me for two reasons. It’s hard being the boss’s kid. Its a no win situation. Two, working in the heat is exhausting and she has trouble getting her workouts in. And her real job is running. She gets paid hundreds of thousands in scholarships to run. The $10 an hour is peanuts relative to that. But she wants to work. Get her own money and for that I’m proud. I’m not going to lie. I feel bad that she has to work 8 hours for $50 after taxes. But that’s how you learn to work when you are young. You don’t have a ton of skills to bring to the table so you’re paid accordingly. She will be working at a coffee shop in a high end food store. Just hoping she isn’t still working there AFTER college like half of her coworkers. Here are today’s domains. Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
I like your quote Shane!
Am baffled by chainsaws.com. I thought exact match product names were long dead. Was going to off all mine off cheap. Will reconsider.
Chainsaws are a pretty big category
