I did my own AMA on Namepros yesterday for no other reason than I have some extra time and was curious how it would be received. I honestly expected people to come in and be an ass but it actually turned out to be a good chat. Some good questions and some things I hadn’t really thought about until asked. It’s been a great journey and I enjoy talking about it. We often get caught up in goals and results when the most enjoyable part is the road to the finish. It’s like training for a marathon. The fun is training, the getting better and closer to your goal each day. The ups and downs of progress. Once its been accomplished (or missed) there’s a period of “what now?” That’s my least favorite. Another example is selling a domain and getting a nice paycheck. The excitement is the anticipation of closing the deal. Seeing the money in the account. It’s hard to try and not get caught up in trying to repeat it, or do better next time. Not savoring the accomplishment.
I try not to make everything seem so hunky dory. There are a lot of sad stories in there too. Nothing awful. Gambling addiction, trouble with having children, family business. But everyone has obstacles. I don’t feel that I am ever unique. That someone always identifies with my feelings, actions, or journey. When that’s not the case, then I’ll stop sharing and discussing. Here are today’s domains. Click for current price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
That was a very revealing AMA. Not a namepros reader but read that. Thanks for sharing. I respect your transparency.
Thanks Tony
Playhouse.com reserve 100-200K. Doubt it will sell somehow…
I try and skip those name when they have crazy reserves. Must have missed it.
