You’ve heard me say that if a name would make a good brand of IPA beer then its a good domain. I think the thought holds true and nobody has shown me one that isn’t. Generally because the only way to prove to me that it’s a terrible brand is to send me a 6 pack of it. Shipping beer isn’t that easy. Although New Belgian beer company sent me a case of all the beers they make for writing how I loved Fat Tire. But that was back in the day when more than 6 people read my blog. But back to the IPA thing. I am going to start listing my “IPA Name of the Day” to show a name I think would make a good brand of beer and a good brand. Today’s beer is Cat Venom. I would drink the shit out of a six pack of Cat Venom. My company name Cat Venom? A definitely maybe
Domain of the Day: 3Click.com Some will be surprised how high this price is. A web designer won’t. On a website a person should be able to find any info in 3 clicks or less. So a lot of companies have named themselves this

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
You are right, the IPA name of the day sounds like a great beer. Send a pint my way:)
Nice list and commentary today! I generally agree that a good IPA name makes a good domain name. I have yet to sell name like this, though.
Andrew,
Do you list on brandable sites? That would be the main way. Nobody is going to think of it on their own
