I don’t know if everyone thinks like me, but after I come back from vacation I move into beast mode. When it ends I’m not sad, I’m motivated. I want to work hard and make some money so I can do it again. I want that awesome house with the view. I want that walk to the beach. Don’t get me wrong. I am satisfied with life and all that I have. I am grateful. I yearn to help others reach their dreams. But just because you are satisfied doesn’t mean you have to stop kicking ass. There is such thing as enough and I’m there, but having a higher enough keeps me motivated. Like I’ve said before, money eventually becomes just a way to keep score. You have enough to pay for everything. It just becomes something you use to decide whether your ideas were correct. There are times I feel guilty for having what I have and others (like when I see the house I want on the ocean) that I realize I need a lot more to live my higher dreams.
When its all said and done, I am grateful for the vacations and the trips. They are why I work. They are so special that it makes me want to work more. And the way I see it, whatever keeps you moving then that’s what you do. Good vacations keep me moving.
