There’s not doubt this fall is going to be a mess in the US. But a mess on the outside means a killer fall for online companies. Universities and schools are probably going to be the hardest hit. Not many sports, limited to no, in school education. Everyone has invested in Zoom but after using Microsoft Team Virtual Theaters(even as an apple person) they are putting out the better product. They new display of users that looks like a classroom is so well done. That’s the innovation that is going to bring in hundreds of millions of dollars.
My daughter has decided that if there’s no cross country season and no in person classes she’ll take a gap year. No sense wasting the college experience. She can get a good internship or do research and skip a year. She is fortunate that she had a lot of college credits out of High School so she was ahead going in. I guarantee there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of college students thinking the same thing. My daughter is on scholarship but if she wasn’t it would be $70K all in to have a half ass education this year. Not worth it. If you are a fresh or sophomore you would be better off saving the money and getting your core classes done online at a cheaper school.
So while I see this fall being awful and depressing, I do see a record year for domain owners. I think I can do $250K in sales this year. A drop in the bucket for some but a big deal for me. I still can remember how excited I was when I made enough money to pay for my Internet and phone. Couldn’t believe I could sit on my computer after work and make money. Now it’s life changing money. Domains are an amazing opportunity and in the midst of chaos, domains are one of the few assets that flourishes as the world has to stay home. And it’s looking like home is where American should stay for a little while longer. But they’re not, and that’s why fall and winter is going to be long and on the Internet
Domain of the Day: ForexAdvisor.com Still so much money in forex trading. Never been successful in trading forex but it sure is nightly fun
Quote of the Day: “When I was bleeding to death in my Black Hawk helicopter after being shot down, I didn’t care if the American troops risking their lives to save me were gay, straight, transgender, black, white or brown. All that mattered was they didn’t leave me behind.” – Tammy Duckworth

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Wish you all the best Shane!
Hope you achieve it soon this year.
Good luck, I will be happy if I reach my target for this year ( $70k )
My prediction is that you will have two six-figure sales within the next week 🙂 Congratulations!
