This is going to be a short one today. My fridge blew up. Not so much the fridge but the ice maker. It decided to not freeze ice (yet everything else was frozen) and called water. A lot of water. To the point where it leaked all over the floor and down into the lower level of the house all day while my wife and I were at work. Buckling the wood floors and forcing me to lay new drywall in the ceiling (not the first time…see previous story about my daughter flooding the bathroom with 2 foot of water) . You would think stopping it would be as simple as turning off the water but that stupid ass thing was drawing water from some magical land and I couldn’t get it to stop. It was less but it wasn’t nothing. Several hours later I had the thing stripped to nothing with every non essential part out of the freezer. After I cut the water line I realized that the Shut off valve was really a Kinda Shut Off valve. So I had to jury right a series of 34 kinks with duck tape to get it cut off. It wasn’t dripping when I went to bed but I’ll let you know later today how it came out. In the mean time its time to fridge shop. It’s not a bad fridge but I can’t deal with the constant problems of the automatic ice thing on the door. It’s been nothing but problems. I realize why sub Z and Vikings are so awesome.
