Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday March 22nd, 2019

Escrow.com

I generally keep most of my complaints with domain companies to emails and phone calls.  The main reason is I wouldn’t expect them to read our blog every day so its a bit presumptuous to think my writing will reach the company.  If I think something will help their company I figure out who I need to talk to and let them know.  I’ve been a little more vocal with Sedo because trying to get them to change is like turning around an oil tanker.  They are slow to move.   Great people but only the brokers seem to be moving in a constant forward direction.  The rest seem to be spinning in circles.  To the point I have to talk to the brokers to get them to tell the management to return my phone calls. I really think this is all going to change with Matthias Conrad coming on board.  I had a good talk with him and really liked what he had to say and gave me his number if I ever wanted to contact him directly.

I think you’re going to see some good changes.  I am paid to work with Sedo but if you’ve read this site for the last 10 years that doesn’t stop me from saying things like the above.  Good is good and bad is bad.  Doesn’t matter if you advertise here or not.  And there is some dust that needs to be blown off the Sedo site.   I think Matthias is the man to get it done.  Looking forward to seeing Sedo progress and reestablish themselves as a major domain brand acquisition site and domain auction house.  They could be both if they wanted.  They already have some of the best brokers in the industry, nows its time to beef up the rest of the company.  Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on.

  1. Well sedo extend their live support chat hours outside the 1 hour a week window from 9pm-10pm on a Saturday night, that is like a bad joke, and so embarrassing.

My biggest issue with sedo is when you have an issue no way of getting it addressed, all the sudden they have a big buyer, and they are blowing up your phone, and email trying to get a hold of you to make their lame duck attempt to make a commission. Sedo lacks innovation, they were such a leader back in the day, and they have failed to do anything to build on the user experience. It’s just been a lot of blah for a long time, hopefully new blood will get them pumping again. Good luck to them, it’s a two way street, and if we benefit, so will they.
