I have a question for you. Of these two names which do you like more?
InternetCoach.com or RemoteCoach.com
Does it make a difference if InternetCoach was $2100 and RemoteCoach was $398?
Which do you think provides you with the best rate of return?
I was bidding on Internet Coach and stopped because I already own Remote Coach. I feel the name is a better brand than Internet Coach and it was a heck of a lot cheaper. Both let you know that you offer online coaching. And neither of the two would lead the category. That would be OnlineCoach. When I like a category I try and buy as many names as I can to try and give options or “more hooks” if someone is searching for a name on a platform. But I also don’t want to spend $2K on a name that I can buy 7 similar names. But it also presents the biggest problem for newer investors. Thinking those 7 names are as good as the $2K name. Or vice versa. Not sure which category I fit in on this one. Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price
Quote of the Day: “Can you remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be?” – Charles Bukowski
Domain of the Day: uGamer.com I think you probably are going to be OK picking up any game related name if you get it at a decent price. My opinion only. Don’t buy on it, just watch
Namejet and Sedo Names and Others
CameraPhone.org There’s a whole group of phone photographers. Of course it’s not as challenging with camera phones being so good now
ARSN.com Going to meet reserve. Great letters and N for Network
SnowTime.com Ironic, because I have to go out for snow plowing in 6 hours. A little early for snowtime if you ask me
RelocationBroker.com Had no idea there was such a thing until I saw the bids on this name
Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids
VirtualReality.io A hot industry on a hot tld. A perfect match. Under $200 at press time
WePower.com Couldn’t believe all the companies that have this name. One of them is going to bid this up to five figures IMO
SPGL.com Solid letters. L for League
MotorHeads.com this was the first name I noticed on the list. Great name for grease monkeys and weekend mechanics
Trooth.com Fails the radio test but still going to do well because of the implications and 5L.
LaunchTeam.com I see this worth four figures at auction. My opinion only. There can be a lot of money in launching
YourLogoHere.com Will eventually end up at a marketing product company
HeliCom.com 1995 domain. Upgrade name for a few European companies. Sounds 20 years old
LoveSalon.com A salon that is probably going to be called LOVE but has to go with this
FineBar.com Same thing here with a bar named FINE
FoundersDay.com Not sure how much you can get for it but a ton of places have founders day. Maybe one is a big financial windfall day
FirstRobot.com A bit limited on end users but Bad Robot is a production company that has nothing to do with robots so maybe not
IceBot.com Or you could go the bot route over the whole word
SocialCon.com Social media has some big conferences. This could become the big boy
KCMS.com Love seeing LLLL.coms getting these types of bids. Means I made some good choices
877776.com and 475777.com Just to remind you that regardless of whether you like them or not, there are still lots of people that will pay big money for repeaters
Godaddy Domains With One or No Bids
Darts.BIZ Every young male I know grew up playing darts. I have probably played 10,000 games of Cricket. No bids
THE100.COM Good name for a list or Top 100 of something
Diary.BIZ I think .biz works in marketing. I could easily see this on the side of a milk producer
Farmersfood.COM Food that’s straight from the farm to your table
Kosovan.COM Refers to being from Kosovo. Or just a nice brand
CloneWare.com Software so you can clone from home
DickHungry.com 2nd Worst race car name ever
WorkLikeADog.com Probably a negative connotation but for $12 might flip as a marketing name
FastWins.com Another future marketing name. Not going to name your business this but would be your slogan. Short slogans make good domain names
ExtremeSun.com Solar play
Bluzo.com Nice 5L.com with no bids
Permio.com Another one but has one extra letter so maybe not officially a 5L. Still no bids

Meoby.com A definite maybe at $12
GutterBlaster.com As Seen on TV gutter cleaning system in the making
CrowdTank.com Shark tank for the crowd

RoyalGrowers.com I’m thinking canna. Pretty much anything horticulture is now canna
WFAcademy.com Upgrade name for a few dozen academies
LeafWallet.com Still canna. Canna money

What a coincidence. I watched the DomainSherpa episode where you brought up RemoteCoach just a couple of days ago. I really like that name, so in my opinion it’s a much better investment.
Shane, I Like “RemoteCoach” more than “InternetCoach”… “RemoteCoach” strikes me more as if it could be a Coach for anything. When you hear “InternetCoach” it could be misconstrued as just Coaching someone on how to use the Internet.
Michael and Thomas. I thought so, but always nice to hear what others think
I agree.
Hey Shane,
When trying to decide on names or new trends, I want to see data about the trends, searches, and/or keywords. I do trust my instincts sometimes such as buying several smartwatch names back in 2012 before there was a market…look at it now with apple watches and fitbit. When doing a search on Google trends, I see “internet coach” is going down and “remote coach” is going up. I think you made the right choice.
I have to give credit to Popular Science for the idea of smart watches in 2012. Unfortunately, I sold all those names from 2014 – 2016. I’m similar to Shane in the sense to take the money quickly to get a return, but I could have gotten so much more if I knew wearables would take off.
You should really be trying to acquire Coach.com. It also has a ton of backlinks to get you started.
I can’t afford to buy their purse. Pretty sure I can’t afford their domain 🙂
I like RemoteCoach.com best no matter what the price. More memorable. You could also look into buying these domains:
WebCoach.com (not being used)
NetCoach.com (for sale, no price)
Cybercoach.com (not being used)
