I listed to the Dax Shepard podcast (Armchair Expert) with Tom Brady and it was one of the better podcast listened to this month. I am certainly no Tom Brady. Not in looks, skills, finances. Nothing. But we approach life and sport exactly the same way. Exactly. He has always taken things in small steps. Trying to improve from the day before. Knowing that he can get better, will get better, but its going to take some time. He realized that his diet, his mental health, and his sleep all played a major role in his improvement. It wasn’t the weight room and repetition. Those were important yes, but bringing his best self to those repetitions is what made him better. Practicing something that won’t help improvement with a body and mind that weren’t ready merely was a repetition of bad habits.
I found all this out during my journey. A fat Shane is not a productive Shane. My mind isn’t is sharp, my effort reduced. I always keep my goals broken into pieces so I have some success to celebrate and then move on and up. I want to do what I do a long time. Like Tom I enjoy the journey almost as much as the success. I am so grateful I get to run hard and run my own business and every day I end the run, the day, and smile, thankful I got to do it again. I think of what I can do better tomorrow and go for good sleep with no anxiety and uninterrupted rest. I wake up and do it again.
If you get a chance, listen to it. You want to dislike Brady because his life is too damn good and he’s too damn good looking. But after you listen you understand that he’s actually the underdog. He was drafted 166th, nobody has ever called him special, until he was.

Quote of the Day: “A lot of times I find that people who are blessed with the most talent don’t ever develop that attitude, and the ones who aren’t blessed in that way are the most competitive and have the biggest heart” Tom Brady

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
More people would like Tom Brady if his last name was Mahoney. My cousin who is a great-grandaughter of my Aunt Sarah Brady, she just married a guy named Mahoney. The wedding was a Mahoney reunion. They welcomed me into the family.
