You don’t know until you try. Haven’t heard much about the Mike Mann valuation service lately have you? Rick Schwartz leasing team ended pretty quickly. Braden, Alan and I didn’t do so well with our .ws buyout. You gotta try. It was easy for everyone else to sit back and make fun and criticize but almost all great things started out looking stupid and crazy in the beginning. “You’re gonna what?” is a statement that many millionaires/billionaires heard when they first started. “You mean you are going to have people rent out their couches and extra bedrooms?” “That’s stupid, who wants to sleep in someone else’s house while traveling?” AirBNB. Don’t get me wrong, from day one I thought Mike Mann’s valuation thing just didn’t make any sense to me but in my mind I was thinking he might just be crazy enough to pull it off. He didn’t and it folded before it started. But it was worth a try. Because you never know. You have to try out your ideas. I do feel millions of dollars and hours could have been saved just running ideas by your closest friends and mentors. Yet often they just don’t understand what you are trying to do or its a little far out there for anyone to ingest…….Or its just not a smart idea. And there lies the problem. And the reason why some times you just have to try it and find out. I do find that the line between brilliant and insane can often be invisible. Driven and stubborn can be confused. The results usually tell you which side of those equations you are on.
Now my bidding. I have been pretty light the last few days. Busy at work and two days in a row of forgetting to bid on names I like. I kept saying “I’ll do it at breakfast”. Forgot. “I’ll do it a break” Never got break. But I got a few in. I bid on CMSP.com and Zopix.com. I didn’t put in a bid in for the LLLL.com and said I would come back to it. By the time I did it was at $1300 and I just didn’t feel it so I left it alone. On Zopix.com I put a bid in at $155 and left it. $149 got it. Another nice 5L for under $150. That’s my sweet spot and I’ll price it from $1800 to $2800 and hope to keep a sell through 5% average going on my 5Ls . So far I’m a little above that this year. If I do that means I pay $750 or less for the names and sell $9k to $14K worth of names for every 100 names. Meaning that all the names are paid for in less than two years and the rest is gravy. So anyway. Got another 5L. The story is starting to repeat itself. I need to sell a few more now to make it more interesting. If you like the names below, click through to see the current price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
