C’mon let talk some real shit here this morning. Cilantro ruins everything. I have tried to like it but it overpowers everything. My wife on the other hand puts it on everything. Essentially turning everything into a cilantro (fill in blank here for the food). A taco with a little cilantro turns into a giant cilantro salad. I find it awful. I thump it off like a cockroach is eating my food. She brings in in by the duffle bag. At least it seems like it.
To be kind I planed a few cilantro plants in the garden outside the kitchen door. To me those two plants are enough for a city of 1 to 2 million. To her she had them cut down like Edward Scissorhands. Changing all our meals to cilantro based dishes. Each day I prayed that a cilantro wilt or some other plant killing disease would wipe out her plants and all the cilantro plants around the world. Relieving me of the cilantro scoot on my dishes.
But cilantro exists and the garden is about to be planted and I’m left with an easy decision. Make the wife happy. All the while reminding her I hate cilantro but love her. So I ask you. Cilantro or no cilantro? I won’t judge but I will take note.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Hahaha – Shane, my wife and I debate the cilantro thing all the time! It does overpower everything, and it’s one of the only vegetables I don’t like. She puts it on everything as well! I think this is the most I’ve ever related to one of your posts after years of reading them.
Funny stuff. I don’t like cilantro either, but, on the other hand, “happy wife, happy life.” It’s a crapshoot. 🙂
Thanks for sharing the little things to take our minds off the bigger things — and certainly for helping us all make more money by domaining.
Maybe it’s a guy thing…. I also hate cilantro and that it is so trendy. Wife loves it. She is kind enough to keep it as an optional add-on for herself and not add it to all that she cooks.
Yes, seasonal allergies about to start — it’s going to be a rough spring, feeling like a leper with every sneeze. And how will I keep from rubbing my itchy eyes? Not gonna be fun!
I love Cilantro. Very unique taste. Healthy too
The love / hate is genetic – sort of fascinating.

I think only Mayonnaise has more haters than Cilantro. And they are even more passionate.
I didn’t have the proof but figured this all along
I’ve tried to like cilantro. Many times. But it’s just not going to happen… ever.
Cilantro tastes like summer
