I used to live in Wrigleyville in Chicago for a few years. Cornelia Ave to be exact. What was great about the area was not only was it Wrigleyville with the stadium literally out my window but it was also Boys Town, the gay district. So you had all the great action of the Cubs but the apartments and the decoration of the area had great “flair”. I always said that you can fix things up or buy nicer things when you have a couple with two male incomes. But it wasn’t just men it was a lot of women as well.
It was a great area to meet women because you got the group that came to party at Wrigley and the group that was ready for anything. The buildings in the area are like in any city. Right next to each other. Meaning my shower window opened up to another building’s window. That just happened to be another apartments bathroom window as well so we pretty much had two showers 5 five apart. Separated by a bunch of bricks and two frosted windows. I always kept my window closed, they always kept it wide open. And I could see everything. It sounds exciting except the neighbor women weren’t exactly my type. A female couple and both of them were just a little taller and a little stronger than me. While they made me feel safe, they weren’t the entertainment a 23 year old guy was looking for in a shower scene.
Each day I would try and time my shower so it wasn’t at the same time. Because it was getting to be summer time and I had no AC and I had to crack the window. I can’t tell you how many time I would walk into my bathroom and see a shower scene out the window. Eventually like everything you see 1000 times, you become numb to it. It got to the point where my roommate (who was a woman and only a friend) or I would just keep the window open and shower as well. At this point it didn’t matter.
One day when I’m showering I hear a “hey, hey”. I’m thinking this is exactly where I didn’t want to go. I absolutely didn’t want to become friends with my naked neighbor. At first I didn’t answer but then I responded something like “What’s up?” I expected some kind of funny response or comment about us showering next to each other. Instead she said “This is a crazy question but can I borrow some conditioner?”

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
How symbolic, and the morale of the story is: We are all in this together!
So did you give her some “conditioner” or not?
