There are a lot of reasons I’ve had a great year. In tough times I’ve found some positivity. The way I found it was to get rid of the negative. I blocked all the people that bitch all day. I blocked the people that offered nothing towards a good day. I stopped going to Namepros. There is a ton of great people and things there but to wade through the chaos wasn’t good for me. I stopped going to a few of the blogs that leaned towards negative and kept my online time to learning or smiling. It’s been an amazing difference. Noticeable in my energy levels during the day. Noticeable in my sleep. Noticeable in the way my day starts.
It helped that I hit all my goals this year. Goals that were set pre-COVID. I wanted to break 3 hours in the marathon. I wanted to learn more about beekeeping. I wanted to get a few big loans paid off at the nursery and I wanted to have all my personal assets paid for fully. I was able to do all those by the end of September and I have spent the last few days just being extra grateful. I also had my second beekeeping lesson on Friday night. COVID makes it easy to trade going out for dinner for a beekeeping lesson. As much as I’d like a good piece of salmon, learning how to extract the honey off the frames and then produce a clean, healthy, honey is a gift that will last longer than a meal.
I realize that there will be some challenges ahead. There always is. Things don’t always go well. Nobody is due for good things. You can make your success but things happen you can’t control. My Father almost dying last year was that reminder. I don’t know what the rest of the year holds but I will roll into it with a big smile and gratitude.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
