I normally save my sales for Domain Sherpa but I’ve had to take a break since I’m working so many hours at the nursery. Not much time to do anything extra. So I’ve been posting a few on Twitter. Yesterday I sold Garden Gifts in the dot com. I bought it in the NamesCon auction in 2017 for around $500 and sold it for $2500. Kudos to Efty as it was a lead there so no commission. I get a few offers on it but could tell from the emails the buyer was serious and it was a super quick transition. Done through Escrow, it was complete in 24 hours. Godaddy even called me to verify in 10 minutes on a Saturday. Despite their old site, their customer service to me is as good as any company I work with.
May is wrapping up and there’s not much to say other than its been one of the best financially of my life. It’s the first time I almost cleared a million dollars profit when you combine all my businesses. Of course I have debt to pay because it takes a lot of infrastructure and land to do what I do, but it went a long way towards paying for all of it this month. My hours are also not sustainable. 7 am to 9:30 pm 7 days a week with much of it in a retail environment is brutal physically and mentally. But short term it can happen . Especially when you know it leads to life changing growth and a month I will never forget. I hope I can do it again in June. But I have to keep healthy. I burned the candle at both ends. My goal is to keep the fires from meeting. Enjoy the day

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
Shane,
Congrats on the great month! It’s nice to hear some good news.
Since you are the garden domains expert, do you think there is any value in gardening dot xyz? I’ve been renewing for a few years but have never gotten any inquiries. I guess the real question is what is potential of .xyz names? (I know you’re not an expert but you play one on the internet)
