Just an FYI. Whatever you’ve accomplished in life your probably didn’t do alone. Acknowledged or not, there were most likely people that supported you along the way. Maybe not always at your side, making decisions, or investing money. But perhaps taking care of you personally and emotionally as you pursued your dreams. I learned early from my parents that a stay at home wife does just as much as the guy going to work (or vice versa). Both have vital roles. For centuries men have taken their wives for granted. Not realizing that they couldn’t have done much of what they accomplished without them. There is a reason why courts give women half of the assets. Most likely they deserve it.
I know my wife has been my life partner in more ways than on paper. Her work and time help create the time I needed to achieve success. Letting me slide on some of my personal duties. As I’ve mentioned before, she has always said, “If you are working I will help, but the minute you lay on the couch you better start pitching in” I remember these rules and abide. She worked while I took low pay while we got the nursery going. She got us insurance when I couldn’t afford to get it privately as a business owner. She talked me down after a bad day. My acknowledging all this has made our partnership stronger.
What made me think of this was a post at Namepros asking me what would happen to my domains if I got a divorce. My answer was simple. One, I hope it doesn’t happen but if it does then she deserves half. Without her I would have less anyway. Of course she’s built up quite a nest egg herself so I might actually come out the winner anyway. Once the nursery and domain investing got going she got the chance to start saving. She helped me out in the beginning and I pulled my weight and more later on. Partnerships should be equal but they have to be given time to flourish. Often one pulls more weight at different times and one must give the other a chance to hit their stride. People often pull the plug on things too early without letting partnerships even up.
People say I’m lucky to have such a supportive wife and good daughter and while there is alway luck involved, its actually the work behind it that makes it come together. Paying attention, communication, effort, acknowledgement and thanks. Pretty much they key to every partnership and relationship. Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price

Take your wife to see A Star is Born. Great date night.
Tim,
Done. Wife took off Tuesday so we could go out to lunch and go see the movie. Great movie. Amazing how good Lady Gaga looks without the hair and makeup.
