I will say that the one thing about quarantine is it makes every day seem like Groundhog Day. You remember the movie. Where every day is the same day over and over. Unlike most people I actually have to go to work every day. Its not as safe as staying home but I wear a mask 12 hours a day and most of it is outside. The day is essentially the same every single day right now. Wake up, think about running but need more sleep so I wake up at 6 am instead of 4 am and don’t run. Eat Special K with strawberries, make an espresso and pour it into my coffee and leave for work. Work until 7. Come home eat dinner. Work on domain list. Go to sleep. It never changes. 7 days a week. I will add that my wife is now working from home so at least she’s by my side at every second when I’m not at the nursery which is comforting.
I can do it for a few more months but eventually I will break. While it sounds like something new, its something I’ve done for 25 straight years. The only difference is I’m 50 and not 30. And COVID has me down some experienced employees and up a bunch of newer people. It also has me working twice as hard for the same sales. Nobody can come and pick and go. All has to be online or via email. In short, there is no time for anything but work right now. None. At least I really really enjoy what I do. Otherwise I wouldn’t do it. I have enough money. I truly enjoy the challenges. And besides I’d rather play a game where money is the points rather than a video game. Some interesting tidbits
In the last 4 weeks I have
- Filled up my gas tank once and I still have over a half tank. I live 2 miles from work. I haven’t met friends to run like I normally do
- I have only eaten food not made at my house twice. 88 meals made by me or my wife, 2 made by someone else. I want to support the local restaurants but its just easier for me to eat at home or pack a lunch
- I have never touched my face between 8 am and 7 pm. I figured out I am not a face toucher and I only take off my mask to eat or drink
- Watched all the Tiger Kings and 2 episodes of Ozarks. Haven’t caught a full show of anything in 4 weeks
- Have spent less than 20 total minutes at anywhere not work or my house

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
