I am thankful for many things in my life and one of those is definitely the Internet. The Internet has allowed me to see and do things that I never would have been able to do without it. I can make money and never have to stay in one place. You can live anywhere in the world and still have income. After this visit to Kenyan, my wife and I are contemplating spending much more time here. One of the main reasons is we can move up our retirement by a whole decade because of the lifestyle we can have for such a cheap price. I could easily live on just what I make in domain investing and as long as the Internet stays strong can do exactly what I do now except in a home overlooking the Rift Valley with absolutely perfect weather. I looked at a home yesterday that if rented is $200 a month. Maybe not stunning by some standards but easily anything we would ever need. I sold one domain yesterday that would have paid for my entire home for a year. And that was just one little sale.
I can see why we have so many domain investors from India because it offers an opportunity to make more money than they ever would be able to locally. As long as there is Internet they are in business. They can take advantage of the low cost of living and make money at Internet rates. A perfect scenario. I say this but I’ve said this pretty much every place I have visited. “I could move here” is a statement I say a lot as I travel. And because of the Internet its true. . Very true Shane,Generally in Africa the standards of living is cheap. I leave in Uganda and i do domaining as my full time Job now and am doing well.
Internet is everything to me as well in my success.
Lol. I play the same game with moving to Ukraine. I could live a decent life just teaching English or business practices and all of Europe is a 2 hour flight away. Not to mention domaining.
