One of the things I’ve realized in business is that many people fail to realize that the main reasons something isn’t good or doesn’t work is that they don’t know how to use them properly. The failure is in them and not the product. I talk to someone that told me “Billboards don’t work”. That is completely wrong. HIS billboard didn’t work. It was way too busy, had a phone number, and gave you no reason to pay attention. It had zero chance of getting customers because they couldn’t read all the shit he had on it at 70 mph. And even if they could there was no way I was going to remember that phone number. But because of his failures he’s telling everyone that billboards don’t work. And that person may actually believe him because overall he’s a very successful business person.
The same goes for a domain investor that wrote that Godaddy sucks. Godaddy absolutely doesn’t suck. Not for someone that has roughly 500 domains or spends a good amount of money on domains. Their prices are as good as anyone in the industry. Once you get enough domains they will assign you a personal assistant that takes care of everything for you. And nobody is going to steal a domain from you because it can’t leave until the physically call you. This person had tons of domains and more than qualified but he doesn’t like them. The reality is he is an ass to everyone. Everyone in the industry knows that he has problems with pretty much everything he touches and its everyone’s fault but his own. I might have believed that there was fault with Godaddy but then there was a problem with pretty much every other company in the industry. Godaddy isn’t the problem. The problem is the person.
What brought up this thought is me getting used to the new WordPress editor. I originally said it sucked but deep down inside I knew that the real truth is it was just different. Different than what I had used for 9 years every night. So going through different motions and hitting buttons in different locations take more time than the old. But I know that I will get better and more comfortable every day. The only problem is me. They changed because it is easier. Their decision had nothing to do with me, but overall. Yes. There are other people in this world besides me. Something that 95% of the people I encounter forget. That the center of the world is them to ONLY them. Everyone else is merely trying to make you feel important or provide a good product. Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price and to fund this daily list
Quote of the Day: “Reminding someone of their past mistakes does not solve the problem. It is easy to condemn one for one’s mistakes even if that person has repented. Rather, in that moment look back to the good deeds they have done after their mistake/s, and you will spare that person much pain.” – Ravi Silari

Spent 30 minutes last night just trying to make a hotlink in a WordPress post. Better or not things should be intuitive. Not liking new WP so far 🙂 I suck :)))
WoW! that was a really stupid post. have you been practicing or have been doing it so long it just comes natural?
The fact that its anonymous ruins the nice comment.
