The list is a little light today so we’re going to have a little domain discussion. What do you all think of Rob Monster and Digital Town? For some odd reason I get multiple emails about Digital Town and their newest business dealings or signing. Because of that I have done a little looking and come up with a very professional opinion. It’s not right. It makes no business sense to me. The financials are on the border of bankruptcy and if not that, definitely unsustainable. Rob has tried to show or explain any actual use but I’ve never seen anything on a large scale. Did I mention the financials? The interest on the debt is LARGER than the actual revenue. I don’t think I have ever seen that in a company that didn’t have a giant user base with a freemium model. Plain and simple its not sustainable and yet Rob Monster is paying himself 1.2 million in salary. That’s right, he is paying himself 4 times revenue. And finally the biggest cash flow generator? Selling the stock. I am all for positivity in this industry but I also want to point out things that just aren’t right. In my opinion and the opinion of anyone that knows financials, that Digital Town can’t last much longer at this rate. And if that happens how will we ever figure out what in the world they really do? Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
I don’t understand the biz model either.
I would like to see the online visitor numbers for these cities, the growth of the platform. I would also like to know if blockchain was a term used in relation to the company from inception or if this is a pivot.
I don’t get the business model either. But I guess Monster laughs all the way to the bank.
It uses the Blockchain Shane, that should be good enough isn’t it?

The platform is rolling out this summer from Austin to San Antonio so that is a good place to see it in action.
As for my compensation, the vast majority is in the form of restricted stock. I took over a shell company and was given the opportunity to build something call. That’s what we are doing.
