Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday May 16th, 2019

Escrow.com released its 1st Quarter of 2019 Domain Report and it had some great info. Escrow.com sees more domain info that anyone in the industry. Nobody has a more insider look than their company. They were nice enough to share some data without sharing specific names. The first bit of info was that domain sales are almost back to their peak of the Chinese book. Seeing $85 million this quarter compared to the all time high of $97 million in Q2 of 2018.

The other interesting bit of info is the huge increase of domains with content that is being sold. The average price of $9800 compared to on $4800 last quarter. More names and sites, higher prices. This is compared to an average of $2500 for domains with no content. Which also tells us that there are a lot of really low transaction prices to offset the hundreds of thousands of dollar names that we know have sold. I can only imagine what Escrow.com gets to see that none of us know about. Obviously there is more sites selling than we ever knew and most likely one of the reasons that Flippa has focused on those instead of domain sales..
