For those in the US today is Thanksgiving. Which means most people are off work and visiting with friends and family. It also means we’re probably not checking the auctions as closely as normal so there may be a few good deals to be had. Then again, the APIs are preprogrammed for many so it really won’t matter all that much and First on Namejet is a Chinese auction house and its not Thanksgiving in China. But who cares. Stepping away from the computer for a day is a good thing. Let the guys and their cats have the Internet for a day
My friends and I put on our own Turket Trot each year. It’s grown over the years and we expect over 100 this year if the weather is good. Our tradition started as a fun run where we’d take a shot of Wild Turkey at the beginning of the run and one after. Now we have people from all over the area coming to join us. We have a little donation box for charity but really its just a way for friends to get together and be thankful we actually have friends and can still run. Our kids have been coming along for years and now many of them are able to do the shots along with us old men and women. Prizes are awarded but none of them are for speed. But who really needs prizes when you have a reason to do Wild Turkey shots at 8 am
