Reoccurring revenue. Mr. Wonderful of SharkTank is best known trying to make deals that have it included. In my mind it is the key to making big money. Here is my reasoning courtesy of Captain Obvious.
- It gives you money to pay reoccurring bills so you can be riskier on your other investment
- It increases your ability to borrow or get credit. People like to see income when lending money
- Stress kills. Having money coming in takes off daily stress so you can think more clearly
Regular income is difficult in domain investing. You can build out one of your domains but that’s not really domain investing. That’s building a business. I think one of the best ways to earn monthly income is flipping on the auction houses. Its not easy but I know 4 or 5 guys that do a pretty good job making mid four figures a month flipping names by buying at various places and then flipping at Namejet auctions. The easiest is probably just keep your day job. Build a career, put in the hours, and make money in both. Its very doable. Even better, get a day job that is flexible enough to let you do a little domaining during the day.
On a side note. I’m short Tesla and hope their earnings suck. I think Elon is a brilliant man. I love their cars. But his word is no good and he lacks the ability to just do his job and not interact with trolls. He has proven what the future looks like in cars. He just hasn’t proven he can be a mass producer of those cars at that price and make money. Not without setting up tents or bringing over people used to installing solar panels and having them instal quarter panels. There are other business model problems. From delivery of vehicles to repairs. Fixing a Tesla is crazy expensive. Getting help to fix it is getting worse and worse every day. Throw a few hundred thousand more on the road and its going to be a nightmare. I think the share price of Tesla should be $225 if you took away all the hype and had a proper value. We’ll find out more tonight.

Quote of the Day: “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” -Calvin Coolidge

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Interesting to see Dispute.com, .net and .org all dropped. GoDaddy is raking in that free money.
Thanks as always for the feature Shane. A small correction, IJQV.com already had multiple bids at the time of writing 😊
