I realize there are millions of domains expiring at Godaddy auctions. With those millions of names comes tens if not hundreds of millions in essentially free revenue. In my opinion some of that revenue needs to be spent on a person that does a few things. One, runs scans for highly offensive keywords. Today’s names has incest names all through out. One person could spend a little time running a scan for various words that are would be considered universally bad. Two, camel case the names. You want to sell some names, display them so people can see the words. Running them as one continuous lower case jumble is leaving money on the table. It’s not very hard. We camel case the list with a tool and some hand work every day. It’s worth it to us and we don’t make 1/1000th of what Godaddy does.
I realize it all comes down to quantity and quality of names. Godaddy has the best in the industry. But I believe they could make an investment in staff to make it even better………and more profitable.
