I’ve been so busy at the nursery this month that I’ve lost pretty much every auction I’ve been in. 3 to 5 a day. And in 95% of those the winning bidder has been the next bid after my highest bid. Bidding it up until they reach my number. I don’t have time to watch the auctions and bid higher so I pretty much put in what I would pay and leave it. If I get it, I get it. I won’t lie though, some of those names I really like and would have gone a little higher but who knows if that would have gotten it done. Probably have saved myself an hour a day dicking around bidding back and forth, pushing the auctions out 5 more minutes. But here are a few of the names I purchased recently. Nothing super exciting but gives you a feel of some of the medium to lower quality names I’ve added to my portfolio. I sold a few names this month so I was able to add name of equal quality at 5 to 1 vs sales price. All dot com
FileSaver
Gipple
Packle
ARunner
ExploreKenya Of course Godaddy canceled the auction and gave me No reason. No email, nothing. Typical terrible communication. I have to ask to get answers there. At least they always answer if I ask, but not once has someone there let me know of something happening before I found the problem. Never. They are a reactive company but that’s typical of companies of their size.
Treezy
HoneyLife
Again, not going to change the world but pretty sure I’ll sell them at a profit some day. And they aren’t the high risk NewG or some one off name. They are shorter, simple, and easy to spell. Not saying this is how you should build your portfolio, just saying this has been they way I’ve built part of mine and its been successful. Here are today’s names. Make sure to click on the names to see the current price and to help DSAD keep on keeping on

The same thing has been happening to me, Shane. Missed a few the last couple of weeks, just got too busy.
Regarding Close Call Auctions Shane, is there anybody you’d trust to watch and give them an absolute Final Bid Figure – where it’s within a cat’s whisker?
Very best,
Paul.
Ireland.
