So I missed the first day of my list this year. I ran the Chicago Marathon yesterday and had a dozen or friends fly in from all of the country to run and hang out so I just couldn’t find the time to write a list. I figure missing a few a year won’t kill me. When I do something I try and get a little better at it each time and I’m lucky that Father Time has allowed my running to improve as well. I ran 3 hours 6 minutes and 28 seconds. A new PR and a pretty solid time considering it was a little hotter and sunnier than I would like. I kept a 7 minute pace for most of the race with a little slow down at the end. I’m not going to lie, it hurt a little more than I like at the end but any time you push to the edge of your skills its going to get a little uncomfortable. Next up, our group is going to climb Mt. Rainier and start training for a little more challenging climbs. Of course I’ll let you know how that goes. It might be my one and only climb. Here are today ‘s names. Click for current prices
