2 billion people, 335 million. That is the ratio of native speakers. Two billion Chinese and 335 million English. Of course there are hundreds million more that speak English as a second language. For that reason alone its understandable why Chinese control the current domain market. Plain and simple there are 7 times more of them. That will lead to the control of a lot more than domains eventually. It is also not coincidence that most of the most successful new TLDs are the ones that went after the Chinese market. I’d love to hear how this trend will reverse now that the masses have entered. Oh, they will leave. Tens of millions of new Chinese are born each year and they will want to be global even more than their parents. We all can put our money to work on our thoughts or we can buy nothing and complain that it is going to end soon. That’s the great thing about free will. Nobody is forcing or coercing anyone to buy domains. You should only buy them if YOU think its a good investment. Don’t buy them just because we are buying them. Do your homework and make your investment decisions on that homework. Here are today’s names. Click for current prices.
