DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Friday, August 1st 2015

Escrow.com
Yesterday was one of those days.  Come back to work and find things a little worse than you left them.  Everyone works hard and I try to make sure everyone can keep the company running smoothly but there are always a few things you take granted as little things but they aren’t shared.  The other people try and be nice and not bother you and it ends up getting done wrong and costs money. Its a learning process and one that I am going to have to get better at if I plan on not working 80 hours a week.  It also doesn’t help that my Dad takes over every time I leave and there is fight about what he thinks I’m doing wrong.  Gotta love family business.  Some times I think it would be easier if I worked on domains all day and tried a go at it.   Here’s today’s list

EWSF.com  17 years old.  Good letters but the E has it under $80 at press time.  I think its worth more

NeverBeenThere.com  Also 17 years old.  Great travel name for $12.  If nobody takes it I’ll take it for $25

HellsElevator.com   No bids.  Not any great value but I do like the name in fun.  Although it sounds like Anthony is taking it

MyTeen.com 1999 name.   If someone could write a guide to owning one I would love to read it.    One bidder at $25

LivingBetterLonger.com  14 years old.  A little long but a good message and memorable.  Actually has a bid

VeryCalm.com  14 years old and no bidders.  Another memorable name.  I think you can sell it for more than $12

TheFour.com   There are a lot of fours but it takes a good domain like this to be THE four.  Otherwise you’re just A four

HealthExam.com  Hard to believe this has no bidders.  Health names are always good to own.  12 years old

Lebcaa.com  High price on the Godaddy board and not exactly sure why.  Can’t be because of the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority

hg7707.com  Another one of the hg and js numerics doing very very well

FindMyHouse.com   I’m not exactly sure why you want someone to find it but very memorable

HVZN.com  No vowels or V but still not over $100.  Oops there IS a V, never mind

CelebBox.com  Looks like someone tried to build out a celeb site and then quit

TraceThisPhone.com   One bidder.  Sounds like an app I would use.  Although not very covert

SafetySchool.com  Only one bidder (although its a decent bid).  I think this easily  is a four figure name to the right person

EUOV.com   Met reserve so it will sell.    The opposite of a great Chinese LLLL.com which means it will skyrocket soon because everything that was bad is good now. So I expect everything that is bad now will be good again soon.  But don’t take my word, I still haven’t figured out what is good and bad some days

Implemented.com   One of the signs of a good domain is how many of new gTLDs are taken using that keyword.  This one has quite a few and even a few up for sale on Flippa.   Could be used for a lot of different businesses that are trying to prove they are getting things done.  $11 plus CPC as well

Cuz.com  Not getting any love.  Loved it the first time or two at auction.  Still love it.  But I think people are scared off when the sellers username is the same as the domain.  Means they really love it. Maybe too much

ApartmentHunting.com  Worth quite a bit more than the $250 bid IMO.  17 years old

TheSurprise.com  Met reserve.  Can’t wait for the big surprise aka how much it sells for

3248.com  Can’t believe this didn’t sell the first time.   But I wouldn’t give it away either

49497.com   Sure is easy to type.  Has fours holding it back but still a nice numeric IMO.  Only a few bids

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

Tavares.com  One of the most popular names in the South American world.  And the name of every short stop in major league baseball.  (made the last part up)  20 years old

RUCA.com 19 year old CVCV.com   That’s enough to take a look

XR.com No bidders.  Just kidding.  More watchers than bidders but not a lot of buyers have $500K laying around

EOOO.com  A pretty domain and also what the guy who accidentally walked off a cliff.  Sorry, not very good

IWillNow.com  A good name for a site that teaches a lesson

MedicalBillingServices.com  Not many industries bigger than this.  I realize the value of health insurance and health names but it doesn’t mean I have to like the product

EJJJ.com  Chicks dig the triple J

NamePartners.com    Good name for one of you

NYB.org  I think any LLL.org with NY at the front is worth owning.  Lots of org in New York

LakeShoreDrive.com   Can’t believe it has only 11 bids but then again not everyone is from Chicago
