DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday, May 18th, 2015

I’d like to officially welcome Aaron 2 (yes we have another Aaron on the team because I only work with Aarons)  of Top Choice Domains to the DSAD team.  Aaron will be covering the completed auction sales on a daily basis.  We’ve always wanted to give the days sales with a little writeup and discussion but lacking the hours to do it right.  We were trying to avoid just throwing up the sales because you can just go to Namebio and get all the daily sales if you want comps.  Aaron is going to try and give a little info and opinion on the results.  We also wanted to publish the results from the names that are on this daily list to see how I’m actually doing with my choices.  We may be able to see if there is actually any Domain Shane effect?  Aaron’s post should be appearing soon and he’ll be listening to any suggestions you have for improving the list.     Here are today’s names

 QACI.com    Maybe an acronym, maybe a pronounceable.  Definitely a CVCV

YGum.com  I own Bgum.com and get offers several times a year

RRAY.com   Ray ray.  Doing a lot better than Ygum.com

TheBots.com   One bidder at $12.  I’m not scared of the bots…..OK maybe a little

PVAA.com   Worth much more than the current $30 bid IMO

XSXC.com  Love this one.  I used to be able to get these for less than $50 last year.  Now look at you

XSRR.com   For the millionth time. X is the hot letter of the moment.

OMXX.com Get two of them here

ZTII.com  Or get two i’s…..which aren’t nearly as hot as the x’s

BumpBox.com  Not sure what the brand will be but I am going to go ahead and sign up anyway

VeryEasy.com   Very easy and very memorable

Cuddle.com  Under $50K is a good buy IMO.  Of course I’m not going to spend that much so my opinion is worthless

TheClosers.com  The writeup alone is worth a look

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

Pinup.com   One of the better names on Namejet this month.  Plenty of uses from Pinterest to Nudie

AYEV.com  VCVC aren’t nearly as popular as CVCV, but it’s still a decent name

LZFQ.com  Here is a great example of what I talked about yesterday re: knowing which letters are in demand. Who would have thought that this one has more bidders than AYEV.com

MAYX.com  A ticker symbol for penny stock Mayex USA, or an abbreviation for May Xperience

 FindTunes.com   Because there aren’t enough places to find music
