DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Sunday, May 17th, 2015

Escrow.com

The list today is full of the normal LLLL.coms.   There is tremendous opportunity IMO to make money in the LLLL.com market.  Most people have no idea of the value of the domains and which ones are a good buy with room for a flip or not.  Its changed drastically over the last year with the Chinese buyers swooping in and buying letters that we deem poor but to them they are in high demand.  On one hand if a name isn’t getting attention does that mean its not a good name….or did they miss it.  Being a good domain hunter or buyer is knowing that info.  I would love to pretend like I have all that info but the truth is I know just enough to be dangerous.  I have purchased some great names for cheap but I also have purchased some names merely because so many people wanted it. Stupid I know but its the crowd mentality.  If 2 people are in line waiting to buy something and 100 in another then I am going to get in the 100 line just because I assume what’s at the end of the line is better than the shorter line.   Enjoy you Sunday. Here are today’s names

Charissa.com  I know a few girls named this and spelled this way.  18 years old

ZSex.com  Opening bid is $790 and thinking that price is about right

PCLD.com  15 years old and any LLLL.com that starts with PC has good value

BPAT.com  15 years old.  Blocked Point After Touchdown

LeadsGeneration.com  Of course I’d rather have LeadGeneration.com but this one isn’t too bad

WYLI.com  A lot of great LLLL.com the last few weeks.  Eventually it will start drying up

CheckAnytime.com   Great marketing name for anything that needs to be checked

388838.com It’s 6 numbers but they are mostly 8s so it will still do well

527555.com  The triple five is always in high demand.  Under $200

UCO.cc   I am a buyer of LLL.cc

FQQL.com   The Qs look like eyes.  That adds $1.45 to the value using my algorithm

90808.com  yes its over $8000

NEW GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy hitched149

BearMark.com  At $1.  Upgrade domains for a few companies.  Makes a nice brand

DroneAI.com  The “follow me” drone with collision avoidance is the goldmine in drones.  The AI needs to keep improving

TelevisionHistory.com  Could do a lot with this name.  Lots of great history in television.  At $1

YoungUrbanProfessional.com  The generic term for Yuppie.  They moved from BMW to Audis though.  At $1

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

KEO.com  Not as good as VEO but still so so pretty

CDSV.com  18 year old LLLL.com and that’s good enough for me

IronShoes.com  A great running site name. Because its what everyone feels like they are running with at the end of a race. Look at all the bidders

KissMyFeet.com  Memorable.  Two bidders have a foot fetish

DogCare.com   Everyone love pet names and all the bidders prove it

KB3.com  Everyone should own a few LLN.coms

6674.com  Pick up a few NNNN.coms while you’re at it.  Just dig in your change jar and you should be fine

CMX.net   11 million Google results

Football.biz  One of the very few .biz names I can support buying

777.asia    These two go together pretty nicely.  One of the few .asia I can recommend

JZ.tv  Its pronounced Jay-Z

01170.com Buy on Namejet, sell on GD

  1. Hi Shane,
Thanks for another great post. Do you know of any online resources that discuss Roman (Latin) alphabet letters and how they relate to Chinese meanings? There are a number of articles published by the likes of Media Options and Domain Holdings that discuss the value of number .coms, but nothing really about letter .coms. Surely there must be more insight into this… or are people keeping that info to themselves ? 🙂
