The last few days have been pretty reflective since I had my friend lose his wife. It’s reminded me that everything we do in life is not alone. You may think you’ve accomplished things but they were probably assisted along the way by the actions of others. And if you haven’t, then you haven’t been doing as well as you could have. As much as I like a rum cake, I think that a handshake or a personal email letting someone you appreciate them goes a long way. I don’t always practice what I preach, but I’m figuring it out slowly. It’s also the reason you’re not seeing very many posts about things that I think are wrong. I’ve decided to just call or email someone or a company when I have a problem. And so far everything has been taken care of. You’ll have people say that’s getting special treatment. That’s not special treatment. That’s taking care of business. Enjoy the day.
