Memorable and Represents. That’s all that matters when it comes to a domain name. You want a name that people can remember and represents your company in the best way possible. So it just doesn’t matter what the ending is as long as it meets those criteria. At this point in time dot com is the easiest to remember. That is why it is worth more. At this point in time the new Gs are harder to remember because they are so new so they have less value. Its that simple. I think BigDomains.xyz is actually more memorable than Big.Domains in the minds of most Internet users. Of course BigDomains.com is the best. Over time, this may change. Things WILL change. And like all riches, those who predict how things will change will reap the wealth. In the meantime I’ll keep buying what I think I can sell for more either tomorrow, next year, or in 5 years. I encourage you to do the same. The only way to see who is correct is in the sales results. PS: Another great comic from Eric Lyons today. Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
