In a world of instant and me me, it usually takes years for an individual to realize that after the personal goals and gains are achieved the only thing left to leave is legacy. Only a wise person can plant a tree knowing that most likely they won’t be around to enjoy the tree’s shade and beauty at its peak. Over the last couple months I’ve thought about what kind of legacy I would like to leave. My biggest is probably my daughter. Trying to raise her to be a wonderful addition to society. My personal financial donations have gone to spinal research. Having suffered a major spinal injury I realize that we have a long way to go but have made some major moves towards a day that we will be able to heal torn spinal cords. And then there is the present. I have decided I would like to help kids move more. Whether it be getting out and simply playing or getting to a park and hiking. Obesity in America is an epidemic and getting worse. Why am I saying all this? Because I’m getting to the age where I’ve done most of the things I want to do and have realized I need to move my goals past me and on to others. It took a lot of selfishness to reach my goals. Now its time to help others reach there’s. Man, I’m starting to sound like Gilmour. Sorry about that Here is today’s list. Click for current prices
