DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, March 21st

Escrow.com

There was some interesting news yesterday.  Some good, some not so good.  Dot cc is going to reduce the renewal cost on May 1st to $8, that’s the good news.  Sahar Sahid is going to have a series of “Ask Me Anything” with Domain Industry Experts. That started out as good news. The only problem he is including Adam Dicker.  Great idea, terrible execution.  Hopefully he’ll drop him and we’ll get to see some good question and answer.

PS:  Man there is a lack of quality names at Godaddy the last two days.  I need that to improve if you guys could start letting some names expire please.

PSS:  Watch today’s Sherpa show.  Three handsome fellas and me.

Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices .

FPAC.com  19 years old.  All LLLL.com that end with C are worth owning

ABetterLandscape.com   No bidders at $12.  Upgrade name for a few companies and a good marketing name even if it wasn’t.  15 years old

TheCurious.com  Love this one.  The “the” makes it a group.

TheFatGuy.com  175,000 backlinks.   And there are millions of endusers

375365.com   6N premiums are on the uptick again.  Average is in the $175 range.  This one is already above that

XKD.co and GJH.co   They’re doing well lately.  The market is moving so fast I have to check the results each week to see where we are.  These will give us some comps.   I’m on the buy side of these.  But don’t buy because of my thoughts or you will lose all your money and you’ll be forced to take a job helping Mike Mann pick out sunglasses

D88X.com  You can pretty much throw an 88 in any dot com under 4 character and have a three figure name

TrashStash.com Not sure what you’d do with it but over $100 and there’s not shit for names to choose from today so here you go

VOCW.com, ROIU.com, VAUO.com, UXPC.com   Some lower boats for you

WXFD.net, NKBS.net, HDDB.net, NCPH.net  And a few of the eternally available LLLL.nets

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

8e9.com   CCC.com that is averaging $400 ish with a vowel but a little more with an 8.  This one is much lower than that

Y9T.com  another similar name here.   9 years old

Weatherist.com   “ist” names do well on their own.  This one is a website

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

YogaLessons.com  You’ll see on DomainSherpa today that I don’t think there are yoga lessons, they are classes, but its a big name because you can still build it out using classes as the focus

ExecutiveTours.com   We used to have a business with this name and it offered VIP sports travel packages. I can see it used for high end travel.

CampaignOnline.com   507 million Google results can’t be bad

QKMQ.com  So ugly it must be expensive

LoveHotline.com   Used to be $3.99 a minute.  Now its all online for free

7177.info, 7736, 7112, 6115, 6117, 2717,  and 1116.info   If you’re looking for a 4N.info  These were all getting bids of $69 but there are a ton of them on the board today so you can have your choice

PAJO.com  This CVCV isn’t getting much love

MoneyBoard.com  Nice name for a website or financial app

GameFaction.com    A lot of games with the name “faction” in it

NMDS.com  Great Western letters.  I expect it to go on the high end of LLLL.com prices

HGVZ.com   BCVB.com I expect these to go on the low end

2CB.com   These names continue to do well.  Off their highs but easily over $1k…….I think

XZT.net and KSQ.net  These follow the LLL.com market and its been down.  But its still high enough to keep these worth good money

CreamyMonkey.com  No value, just wanted to say ewwwww

YourCoder.com  Would be a great job board.  Or anything related to coding which is in super high demand

HSHA.com   These are the names I think still have room to run.  Good western acronyms.  I guess I say it every day but I like to treat every day like a new day

XXGX.com   Doing well because of all the Xs.  I guess that’s pretty obvious

15223.com  These were at $4K. We’ll see where they’re at now

PSBI.com  I for international

Training.xyz   Big keyword.   The more mainstream xyz becomes the more this will grow in value

BNFF.com   I know where all the Godaddy names went.  A boatload of LLLL.coms here

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

  1. Hey Shane. If he invited you to the DomainingAMA, will you do it? If yes, I’ll start writing out my questions asap. LOL.

    1. after reading all the comments about the DomainingAMA on Eliott’s domaininvesting.com article, let me apologize for even asking this question. Had he not invited AD, I would have looked forward to you and other bloggers that I follow being on the show.

      1. Candace,

Not sure if Sahar would even ask me to be on the show. But obviously at this part I wouldn’t accept. I love being on DomainSherpa. That’s enough exposure for me 🙂

  2. Shane, where did you see this info on .cc renewals coming down?

I think it’s great news, obviously. I own a little portfolio of (mostly) Chinese CCC.cc

  3. Well, now we know why FS canceled at the last minute.

    I can’t say that I blame him.

Yes, I have noticed a downturn on decent domains, which is probably a good thing for me.

    🙂
