I did it. I summited Mt. Rainer over the weekend. Only 50% of the people that attempt actually make it but the weather was perfect and I held up physically. Other than my first Ironman, it is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done physically. It was also one of the most beautiful and fulfilling things I’ve accomplished. Like the Ironman, the next time I do it I think I will be much better prepared. I had no idea what I was in for. 14 hours of straight up and down climbing with 30-40 pounds on your back isn’t easy. It doesn’t help that a few missteps throws you down a mountain. But that keeps you paying attention 🙂 Next try is Denali or two peaks in Ecuador but I will have to train much harder and build on my mountaineering skills until then. . Many thanks to the people that helped sponsor and pay for the trip. Their sponsorship of this blog allows me to not only continue to write but to do these amazing things.
Thanks to all the sponsors below
And a special thanks to Josh for his great humor and lists while I was away.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
