Fort the first time, my name is starting to cost me money. I have to admit I go to Namepros several times a day now. Mostly to see what the crowds are thinking. I don’t follow them but I certainly pay attention. I have spent years trying to build my name, build trust. But once people see that its me wanting a price or looking for a style of name they either don’t want to sell or jack up the price. Especially on some of the cheaper, “haven’t moved” niche names. For instance, I put up a post saying that I was looking for AABCC.com names (no vowels or V). Like all forum replies, half weren’t anything like what I was looking for. Forty percent were “I have some of those, do you really think they are going to move up in price?”. And the other 10% I negotiated with. I bought 4. Obviously I think they are going up in price or I wouldn’t be asking to buy them. Second, my purchasing a few names out of 40,000 of that type won’t move a market. I have to start going incognito in my purchases. I think I’ll be a boy looking for the name for my class project. Nobody’s seen that before. Here are today’s domains. Click for current prices.

Zoomr.com PR 5, 4.2K links, and a pretty big price
TheBespoke.com I have to admit I didn’t know what bespoke meant. Made to order. Custom Made.
NAPY.com A CVCV to some (y is not a vowel but many people still think so), a nice acronym to others. Either way, short and memorable
158339.com A ton of good action right now on 6Ns. The gamblers are on the 7Ns. Of course we’re all gamblers I guess

XIDX.com I actually like this as a brand. All I see is ID
Howdoyougetridofbedbugs.com You know there are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people typing in this exact thing. 2 million results.
ProAlarms.com Upgrade name for a few company. I put these types of names up because I think you can get them for under $100 and resell them for a bit more to those that can use them. I don’t have the time. I barely have enough time to change my shoelaces when they break. I just tie them in a knot and use them again. But then sometimes they won’t pull tight and then it is just bothersome so I have to get new laces. You see where I’m going with this.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. (if you have trouble with the contact form its shane@ this domain name) I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good investments
beianx is buying major .cc’s on the auction sites. Looks like they are going to China!!
If you go to http://www.beianx.com it forwards to a Chinese auction site.
Nnn-nnnnnnnn.cc’s at 60 a pop min. Hundred s.
Bidding against beianx is about as much fun as bidding against first on Namejet. The sheer quantity of names that beianx bids on is amazing.
I wonder if they are an auction site or if it’s an individual investor buying them all?
9998888.cc over 400 and 2 hrs to go.
Shane, it’s those dam Auburn fans jacking up the price on you(lol) Roll Tide!
Jim,
Missed the comment yesterday. The game was too close for comfort. And I don’t worry about Auburn fans bidding because they still haven’t figured out how to use the Internet
Hi Shane,
You say: “ABC.net If I had the money I would absolutely buy this one”.
What are you expecting the price to be for this .net domain. It can’t be or shouldn’t be too expensive (because of the extension) yet at this moment it stands at 30K with about 10hrs left. I was tempted to bid, but the reserve is not met yet. How much do you think it is worth, specially now that Google has been reported buying any/all abc across new and old extensions?
So far I know of the following purchases:
abc.xyz
abc.biz
abc.cm
abc.mx
abc.win
abc.club
abc.global
Any idea of its current worth & its potential appreciation?
Joe,
I think it was a $50K domain before and especially after Google’s acquisitions
