Listed below are some notable domain and website sales at Flippa over the past week, as well as a few domains with bids that didn’t hit reserve.

Taking a quick look back at the Bart.com acquisition at the BIN of $5,000 from a couple weeks ago, it’s interesting to see the placeholder that’s live (shown below)…….I’m not sure if the buyer has a real product/service coming out, or if the placeholder is to defend against TM holders that would love to own the name. As mentioned previously, the buyer knows his way around domains and internet marketing.

• URL Hidden – $120,000 – Monthly net profit of $26,000 stated, on uniques of 10,100. Outside of the statistics, the details of the listing were only available after signing a confidentiality agreement. The site was sold at the BIN on the second day of its listing.

• AliveDirectory.com – $31,000 – Monthly net profit of $2,781 stated, on uniques of 1,600. “AliveDirectory.com is a very well respected general web directory that was launched in 2005. AliveDirectory.com has a database of 4500+ businesses who have purchased from this site.”

• ScenicReflections.com – $30,200 – Monthly net profit of $1,400 stated, on uniques of 173,000. “Scenic Reflections is one of the premier screensaver portals in the world! In fact, Scenic Reflections is the #1 screensaver website by TopTenReviews!!”

• SkinRox.com – $19,999 – Monthly net profit of $7,133 stated, on uniques of 50,000. If the stats are correct, the seller left some money on the table with a sale for less than 3x monthly net profit. The site was snatched up at the BIN price on the first day of the listing. It’s an affiliate site for skincare products.
