I’m experimenting with selling names wholesale on NamePros right after I catch them or successfully backorder them. I’ve sold one so far and have bids on 2 more. I’ve never really wholesaled names, except for a few namejet auctions. I figure it’s worth a shot to see what happens even if it’s just to get a feel for these type of auctions, who buys what and what names might sell for.
I honestly don’t care if they sell, because I’m confident with my model that a profitable percentage will sell at retail prices. But I think there’s something to say for developing a secondary cash flow, one which will allow me to buy more names. It’s a vicious cycle.
