I thought about testing my TornadoRide.com idea yesterday, which I might pick up in closeouts and get really serious about the tornado ride industry. My phone lit up with a Tornado warning and the emergency alert system went off on the TV and radio. I got my inflatable bubble ready to go, but it turned out to be all hype, no tornado’s came through. It rained for a while and the winds were strong, but no funnel clouds were spotted.
I’ve never gone storm chasing, but I can see the appeal, from a “can’t look away from a train wreck” point of view. Storms create a certain energy and frenzy that I think people like deep down, if only because it breaks up the monotony of a boring day or week. In addition to this I’m guessing there’s a certain rush for storm chasers when they survive the storm. There’s nothing that makes you feel more alive than the feeling that you might have died.
So have a great week, stay safe and if storms are coming, enjoy the energy but don’t do anything stupid like Tornado Riding.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
While I hope you are safe and sound .. sometimes I feel like putting your lists through a tornado to remove all the names I already had on my watch list! lol
Have a great tornado-free day! 🙂
Ha, thanks! Maybe we’ll start accepting a small fee to keep them off the list 🙂
