Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
CLytpoCurrency ??? Seriously man !!! I’m still trying to figure out domains !!!
.
Or is this your way of trying to get all domainers to quit domaining so you can get all the auctions cheap with all competition moving over to Bitcoin/Eth/etc ??? If so .. then I completely support you …
.
HEAR THIS HEAR THIS … Everybody stop buying domains and start buying Bitcoin !!!
That’s a great idea! I felt left behind watching the last Sherpa show. Really I was curious to figure out the basics, it actually helps me look at this domain space with more understanding too, especially with all the crazy buzz words associated with it.
My thoughts last week regarding the crypto domains was similar to my currenct thinking of “drone” or “vr” names, I thought domainers were going crazy regging names with minimal buyers. Like “how many vr or drone companies can there possibly be to absorb even a fraction of these names?”
But after looking at this whole block chain revolution and all the associated services, exchanges, news, ICO’s, im changing my tune and now think there may be demand for more and more names. Which brings me back to the original point, I need to have a least a basic understanding if I’m going to intelligently buy or register the names.
” … if I’m going to intelligently buy or register the names.”
So now you’re saying we have to buy intelligently too? geezz .. you’re just taking the fun out of everything today!
Seriously .. I think I’m going to join you guys and we’ll rebrand under my domain of the day:
ShortBusGang.com
https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpItemListing.aspx?miid=229477939
Sigh .. I’m so clueless about clytpo currency I can’t even spell it properly! lmao
Lol, well ok “intelligent” might be a stretch…
Big difference between blockchain, Bitcoin, and investable ICOs.
Vast majority of Internet stocks circa ’99 crashed because they were simply “ideas” with no real world business model.
Same happening with Cryptos imo. Just like .com domain names survived the .com Internet stock bubble so will some fruits of current blockchain.
The real winners of the .com bubble were the tech companies that came after the 1st wave of destruction.
Just don’t see strong enough business models around these ICOs to warrant serious investment.
But blockchain isn’t going away and there will most certainly be ways to capitalize on blockchain based businesses in future if world govs don’t crack down. Everyone should do their own DD.
Thanks for posting that video Josh. It was very interesting. I’ve been wondering about cryptocurrency too recently so that was a great introduction.
Josh,
Blockchain is certainly here to stay and is likely just getting started. Getting lots of activity on blockchain/crypto/fintech/bitcoin names in the past few weeks/months but we are still in the very early days. It will certainly be interesting to watch it all unfold!
