Namescon 2018 is coming to a close today, another year of networking, seeing old friends and having a good time in general. While the sessions can be beneficial, the real value lies in bouncing ideas off other domainers, particularly those you only talk to once a year or people you’ve never met. I almost want to start a domain meet up in my town to keep this concept going all your round, but I think there are only a few domainers that live within a hundred miles.
Shane should be back at it tomorrow, I bet he’s itching to dig into the domain lists and tell us all about his unique experience. I’ve been on a few life changing travels in different parts of the world, some for fun, a few service trips and others for work. There’s nothing like the experience of another culture to give you a new perspective on life, maybe change your world view or even make you appreciate your life and what you have. If you get a chance to do something like Shane just did take it, I would.
