We had a successful fishing trip on Saturday, we didn’t win but we caught fish. The weather while in the 60’s got a little windy in the afternoon, nothing crazy, but enough rock the boat. Tidal water is always harder for me to position the boat to anchor fish, you’ve got the current going one way, the tide going in or out and then wind blowing you around.
I think we caught about 20 fish total, the biggest was about 28 pounds. I took my daughter with me, last time we fished a tournament together on the lower Potomac we caught a 72 pounder. I thought her luck would help again, but I now assume a child’s luck gets watered down as the approach the asshole teen years. 🙂
Big storm coming tomorrow and I’ll be at work. I like the energy that comes with before the storm, but then about an hour after it stops I’m ready for the snow to go away.
