I’m sick of winter already and it’s not even winter yet. The temperature has been low enough that it makes fishing a chore, and it won’t stop raining. I used to like winter or at least the change of seasons. There’s an excitement in the air before a snow storm, I used to love it, but now I think about the traffic it causes, wet shoes and shoveling.
The one benefit to winter as far as domaining goes, is being able to sit at your computer for hours on end and not feel guilty about it. It’s too cold to go outside and do something active, so I feel better about wasting away starring at a screen. Maybe I’m just getting old, or maybe I need to find a better winter hobby.
I had someone one message me at NamePro’s the other day, they wanted to know if they could pay for my picks off the pending delete lists. It’s not the first time someone has asked and I’m not totally opposed to doing it, I just don’t know how to make it worth my time but affordable to someone, while taking into account the potential lose to my portfolio. How do I even calculate that? and how do I insure some level of quality if I did do it. As it stands now, there might be weeks when I don’t even look because I’m taking a break or just don’t have the time or motivation. Other times I’ll come up with 250 names a day for weeks straight that I’ll try and pick up.
