The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the past few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.
CallTracking.com sold for $21,000 at NameJet, and the domain was picked up by domainer/developer Peter Askew. He’s building exactly what you would expect based on the domain name, and their site says they’re doing a private beta launch on November 1. “Do your ads generate phone calls? We’ll help you find out. “
Forever.at sold for $10,170 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from Be-Forever.at. Per Google Translate of the German language site, “Beauty and wellness products based on aloe vera by the world’s largest manufacturer online!“
SafeCircle.com sold for $5,900 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from SafeCircleSitters.com, a babysitter matchmaker which currently serves only Nottingham in the UK. “Use our simple, online service to easily connect with professional, qualified babysitters. It’s the ultimate peace of mind.”
Casals.com sold for $2,300 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from Casals.tv for the fans and ventilation company based in Spain. “Ventilation products manufacturer and supplier all over the world. Born in 1881, Casals reaches more than 60 countries worldwide through the most specialized distributors in the sector.”
SocialMediaTV.com sold for $2,010 at Sedo, and the new owners are pitching their TV programming to be played in bars/restaurants/other venues. “The engaging, interactive future of in-venue video entertainment. Your customers will laugh their asses off. They’ll point and gasp in disbelief. They’ll cringe, they’ll cheer, they’ll WTF, OMG, w00t, and research shows they’ll stay in their seats longer and spend more money.”
JFKLimo.com sold for $2,000 at Flippa, and it’s another domain for a company named Q&R Limousine Services. They have similar developed sites at BocaRatonLimo.com and StamfordLimo.com, and each site says they’re a family owned business based in that location. 🙂
Great to see when domains bought are actually developed. Sometimes I see domains bought and not developed for a long period of time. I like how JFK Limo is set up and pretty cool they have other ones as well. This means any more Limo related domains they could be interested in buying.
When you see a site developed and you know he was a past buyer you have to follow up and see what other names they are looking for and see if you can get similar ones for them to buy. This is a way to increase your sales and build a stronger with your buyers.
