The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the past few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.
PushAds.com sold for $5,000 at Sedo, and a new website monetization option is under development. Based in Oklahoma City, “PushAds is a unique, first of it’s kind, monetization system that uses push notifications to automatically send relevant advertisements to your website visitors through their browser.”
FlySJC.com sold for $2,489 at Sedo, and the domain was picked up by the San Jose International Airport, which has the airport code of SJC. They now have identical sites live at FlySanJose.com and their new domain. “Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and is a completely self-supporting enterprise owned and operated by the City of San José, Northern California’s largest city and the 10th largest city in the U.S.”
PerfectSky.com sold for $2,250 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from PerfectSky.nl, which is where the .com is redirected. The Netherlands-based company describes its product as, “a flexible canopy system which protects visitors of events and festivals against rain or bright sunshine. Thanks to Perfect Sky you are less dependent of the weather and your event can eventually become more profitable.”
Peakk.com sold for $2,180 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from PeakkStudio.com. “PEAKK is a creative marketing agency located in Orlando, Florida, comprised of a lean creative team of designers and developers who produce consistent brand development concepts via web, mobile, social media, and traditional marketing methods.”
EverettRealty.com sold for $2,000 at Sedo, and the buyer was an Everett, Washington based realtor. “Veteran and Military Wife who gives back to my fellow Military Family in the greater Everett area.” “I specialize in Military Relocations into and out of the Naval Station Everett area.”
Blowology.com sold for $2,000 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from BlowologyOC.com. Based in Rancho Santa Margarita in California, “We offer luxurious shampoos with a relaxing aromatherapy oil scalp massage, beautiful blowouts and custom hairstyles, as well as professional makeup for bridal parties, special events or photos, or any (or no!) reason at all.”
