The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the past few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.
TeMana.com sold for $10,567 at Sedo, and the domain forwards to the TeMana line of skin care and lip products at Morinda.com. “Pucker up, because you’ve got the gift of glorious lips, thanks to TeMana Lipstick. And this is no ordinary lipstick; TeMana brand lipstick provides moisturizing and anti-aging benefits, and features a brilliant finish.”
Matt.de sold for $10,472 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from Matt-Optik.de. An eyewear company based in Germany calls the domain home, “MATT optik is a family business with over 70 branches nationwide. Giant selection of frames, glasses and contact lenses.”
Veyep.com sold for $9,900 at Sedo; the domain was an upgrade from VeyepSports.com, and the company also uses Veyep.tech for their email address. “VEYEP products are designed to be in tune with your lifestyle. We offer a range of headphones, speakers and electronic accessories. We are the official headphone and speaker of MLB.”
Seeder.com sold for $7,990 at Sedo, and it’s the home of a camera accessories company based in China, as opposed to a seed-related company. “Hangzhou Justtong Network Technology Co., Ltd is found in 2014, it is a factory which produces camera accessories products for broadcast, film and television industry. Seeder is our registered trademark.” Their trademark on the term was filed in April 2016.
Hocon.com sold for $3,000 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from HoconGas.com. “Hocon Gas has several locations throughout Connecticut. Each of our hearth stores sells gas fireplaces, gas fireplace inserts, gas stoves for home heating, and gas fire logs.”
SilverStay.com sold for $3,000 at Sedo, and it’s the home of a new short term assisted living business. It appears a rebrand may be in the works from “Mind Halo” to “Silver Stay”. Their SilverStay.com website says they’re launching in 18 days, while their Mind-Halo.com site says they’re launching in 7 days. “Find short-term assisted living destinations for when you need rest, comfort, and support away from home.”
