What can I say that hasn’t been said yet. Namescon set the bar so high that it will be VERY difficult to for other organizers to compete and bring people to the seats to the next conferences. The content and speakers were top notch and the ideas brought forth will undoubtedly lead to profits for many in the audience. Yes there are a few things that need to be tweaked but they are minimal. I will say this. There is still an opportunity for another conference to exist in a nearby time frame but everything has to be thrown out the window and redrawn. It will have to be different than Namescon but still attract many of the same attendees. WebFest is an awesome event that is first class on every level. The lunches and dinners are some of my favorites of the year and the night activities are the best in the industry. But costs will have to come down and finances studied. It will have to be good but different. If they can draw the Silicon Valley and combine them with the domain investors it will succeed. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. In the meantime, hell of a job Mr. Lau. Here are today’s names.
FollowUp.com Starting bid is $6K and I think it’s worth it. It’s not the contact it’s the followup that counts
InventoryCount.com Inventory management is an essential part of business management. Software to manage it is big business. In domains most people I know have virtually none. They usually look at their portfolio and say Damn I have a lot of domains
CaliforniaSeniors.com There are a TON of them and yes they use the Internet
TheFanZone.com 15 years old. Only one bidder and I like it just as much as fanzone.com
TheSupplies.com You can afford more supplies if you add a The
YourTickets.com Not too bad of a tickets name. Berkens and I would would never be able to use it though. We’d always be typing you’retickets
FGLU.com Worth more than $25 IMO. How much? That’s part of the DomainShane Advisory paid service. Much like my Poisonous Frog of the Month membership idea, no members.
NickelBack.org The last fan evidently put a bid on this one
Random Fact: Every person in the world starts out as an asshole. It is the first part of the body to form in the womb
Hotung.com 19 year old. Hotung Investments would like this name. Sell it to them. No bidders
DebtSolutions.com Because nobody has any trouble getting in, it’s the solution to getting out that’s needed. My getting people in to debt company thing didn’t work out so I know. 17 years old
1939.com Not going to be cheap……and shouldn’t be
DebtToWealth.com Like I talked about above. My company was WealthtoDebt.com and it just never caught on. I like this way better. A more positive feel. 15 years old
CureDebt.com Don’t sign up for my WealthtoDebt program is a good start.
NoMoreBarking.com I think it’s cruel but there are operations that take the bark out of the dog.
SpeedSkatingSuits.com You could sell this to one of the two people that actually own a speed skating suit. I may buy it as a joke email. Would be fun to give out.

Lennard,
Ha! yes womb
I’ve never been to a conference on domains, but I plan on one early next year. If you had to choose only one, would this be it? Not you specifically, but a part time/beginner…
Clay,
Yes, this is the one you want to go. Affordable and tons of great sessions
