Yesterday showed the downside of the Godaddy auction platform as it allows the original registrant to renew even after it’s auctioned off. Eric Borgos paid $34K for orderflowers.com only to have it renewed and his money returned. I can only imagine the highs and lows of going through the bidding process only to have the whole thing fall through. But we all know how it works so its not unexpected. But it doesn’t make it any easier.
