SHANE’S BIG LIST: Wednesday’s Domains at Auction or Dropping on March 5th, 2014

I’ve been beta testing a few items for a few larger domain companies and I’m reminded of how many bad things have to be tested before something good can be created.  Almost everything I’ve tried has either been based on a bad idea or it’s a good idea but hard to scale.  So far, one is not going to even go to market (wisely) and the other most likely won’t be popular enough to succeed (in my opinion).  There are only so many unique ideas in our industry but there is a ton of room for improvement.  The problem I have is most companies think they know more than their users, when in reality it should have been built with ideas from users, not just beta tested by them.  But that’s an age old problem I guess.  Here are today’s names.  And remember I have the Book of 10 that comes out Frday.  I have 3 spots open ($25 each) so contact me if interested in selling a name.  

MediaProject.com Has been up for sale before and not sold (or did and this is a flip) . It will this time.  17 years old

ThunderRidge.com  Great brand, easy logo.  17 years old.  Under $50 at press time

OriginalInk.com  Great tattoo or printing company name.  16 years old.  No bidders

HerbalVitamin.com  Much rather have the plural but the singular would work well, especially in an adwords ad.  15 year old.  No bidders.  Look at all the ads but only the dot com taken

CasinoReview.net  Casino affiliates are big money.  Even the dot net has some good value IMO.  14 years old

420Lounge.com  Pot and lounging go together pretty well.  Add some Taco Bell Doritos locos and you’ve created a hell of an evening.  13 years old

LegalSmoke.com  The reason the 420 Lounge is going to be so successful.  13 years old

FOMS.com  A little surprised how high this one has gotten already but it IS a nice name

BIRR.com  1995 domain.  Beer in the hood

SpeedPour.com  17 years old and perfect for pouring a quick birr

 YellowDisk.com  Good brand for $69 IMO.  NO bidders. 15 years old

MountainCloud.com  Another good brand….AND it has the word cloud.  Which used to be hot but then bitcoin came around

AsbestosWorkers.com  I would think this would be a good legal name.  High CPC

DunkFest.com  I was hoping this one would get over looked but no such luck.  Everyone loves a good poster dunk.  Of course I was raised on Jordan so I got to see the best.

StopSmokingPatches.com   I don’t know who Patches is but evidently people are adamant about him quitting smoking because there are a lot of bidders

OnlineTravelTips.com  Solid name for $69.  No bidders

ReallySweet.com   Thank you, yes I am .  No bidders

DMME.com  Best LLLL.com on the board today and the number of bids reflects it

UniqueJobs.com  Most of you that make a living at this already have one

Electrical.org   Sell it to the unions and overcharge them like the do us all the time
