After 7 months of being retired I now know how domain investors feel like they are busy. You can spend all day looking for names, looking at auctions, managing your portfolio. Amazingly I make the same amount on my portfolio working many hours a day in domain investing as I did when I was putting in a half hour each day. I have become the typical domain investor/retired person. Making things that take 30 minutes take a few hours. Rabbit holeing off into articles that have no relevance to anything I started on but look interesting. Making simple tasks that were ancillary the heart of the day. Today’s big day, 3 meetings and mow the lawn. That used to be 1/20 of the day
That has to change. I am ready to get to work. I have no idea how people sit and stare at screens all day. It’s brutal and energy sucking. Fortunately, I have had tons of zooms and phone calls to keep me socially complete. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to go back to retail, but I do want to get back to work. Not because I financially need it, but because that’s how I enjoy myself. Working and playing. I’ve had an incredible time perfecting the latter half

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
I know how you feel. I also spend hours in front of the screen when I could be done in 30 minutes or less. Also, I risk buying stuff (domains) that I shouldn’t be buying when I spend too much time looking at endless lists…
You can create some pretty cool stuff staring at a screen.
